A lovely opportunity to purchase a Dutch sailing barge originally built in 1979. She spent 14 years over in Holland and was finally brought over to Essex during September 1993.
From July 2010 her second English owner installed a new engine, diesel tanks, water tanks, hydraulic steering and GPS.
The current owner (the third owner) installed new heads, reflex stove, VHF, navigation lights and solar panel.
All the main running rigging was replaced during 2022 and 2023.
The last insurance survey on the slipway was carried out on the 9th June 2020 and so a copy is available if you woul...

There is plenty to like, when it comes to the Leisure 23SL.
This capable little cruiser is designed for serious cruising, with ample deck space, large deep cushioned cockpit and surprisingly roomy accommodation for five.
The hull is constructed of one piece moulded GRP for minimal maintenance, with interior mouldings and bulkheads bonded in for exceptional strength and rigidity. The balsa sandwich deck provides further strength and excellent insulation.
Fitted with well maintained Yanmar 1GM10 believed to start and run as expected. The boat also comes with 5hp auxiliary Mercury outb...

Boatshed Hamble are pleased to present this popular family cruiser from 1998.
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 29.2 cruiser benefits from the combination of good sailing performance, coupled with a generous amount of interior accommodation.
The light and roomy interior includes double aft and forward cabins, a good sized galley, a spacious saloon, with drop-leaf table, navigation station, with its own seating and a separate heads with shower and hand basin.
The boat would be equally well suited for family or shorter handed use, for coastal cruising, round the cans club racing and more e...

So, if you are looking at this Contessa 33 the chances are that you are already aware of its seakeeping capabilities. The owners pointed out that one of the reasons they kept the boat for so long was its ability to lap up the waves and go with the wind feeling very secure and safe.
Clearly the boat has been well looked after and there does not seem to be any sign of extreme wear and tear.
She has a good array of nav gear. The life raft was new in 2019, and will need servicing.
If you are looking to hit the sea running, I suspect that there is little to do to get out there.

Sadly back on the market due to the owner having suddenly passed away, this Macwester 26 Bilge Keel sailing boat is a solid boat with everything needed to go to sea.
There is light DIY restoration to be done and the systems and engine have not been tested (although I powered her up when listing as the bilge had gathered rainwater, the battery and automatic bilge pump worked fine).
As a bilge keel boat this is ideal for estuaries as well as open water, she is spacious and well laid out.
Most of the work required is focused around the woodwork and a good clean.

The Victoire yard was highly regarded for their build quality and the semi-custom nature of their yachts. Working with the revered Dick Koopmans, Victoire produced a range of yachts ranging from 8–13m all gaining a loyal following with their high-quality build and impressive sea-keeping abilities.
The Victoire 933 being one of the yards entry-level models, boasts the same build quality and fit out as her larger sisters. A rare find in the UK, this Victoire 933 was purchased by her previous owners in Holland and sailed over to the UK in 2013, before being based in Scotland. Benefitting fro...
